|Day 1||Miami||Arrive in Miami and transfer to your hotel. Tonight, meet your Globus Group Leader for a 6 pm welcome drink. This is a good time to meet your fellow program participants, get your questions answered, and prepare for your adventure in Cuba.|
|Day 2||Havana||This morning, a short flight brings you to Havana, Cuba's capital city. Upon arrival, meet your Cuban National Tour Director. An orientation tour of this bustling city includes a photo stop at REVOLUTION SQUARE. Enjoy a ride in an OLD STYLER CAR-definitely a trip highlight! Next, lunch at a local paladar (special, privately owned restaurant), where over dessert you can discuss the rewards and challenges of owning a business in Cuba and in the United States. This afternoon, walk the streets of OLD HAVANA, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discuss renovations, different architecture, and plans for the future. Later today, board your ship, the MTS CELESTYAL CRYSTAL, your home for the next seven nights. (B,L,D)|
|Day 3||Havana||Start your day with a visit to a DAYCARE CENTER to interact with the children and the nuns who run the program. The children may even delight you with a song or two. Next, it's on to FINCA VIGIA, Ernest Hemingway's beloved home. Hemingway lived in Cuba for more than 30 years, and it is here that he wrote several books, participated in fishing contests and enjoyed the laid-back ambiance of the island. Engage with staff to learn about this Nobel Prize-winning novelist and his life in Cuba. You'll also have a chance to see his fishing boat, El Pilar. Lunch is at a local ORGANIC FARM, where you'll join in a discussion with the owners, learn about organic farming in Cuba, and then sit down for a genuine farm-to-table experience. Reboard your ship for a 5 pm departure for beautiful Maria la Gorda. (B,L,D)|
|Day 4||Maria la Gorda||Today's visit brings us to GUANAHACABIBES NATIONAL PARK, where you will discuss with local experts the region's varied vegetation and wildlife species, such as iguanas and a large number of migratory birds. You'll learn about the American alligator population that shares this habitat with the Cuban Jicotea turtle and waterfowl. There's also time to visit the historic lighthouse and interact with local community members. Return to the ship and set sail for Cienfuegos. (B,L,D)|
|Day 5||Cienfuegos||Founded by French immigrants more than 150 year ago, Cienfuegos is known as the 'Pearl of the South' because of its impressive beauty and colorful history. Get acquainted on a walk around the main square. Next up: enjoy a performance and discussion with the CIENFUEGOS ORCHESTRA. Lunch is served at a waterside paladar, where discussion with the owner and staff could include the free enterprise system in Cuba. Return to the ship and set sail for Jamaica. (B,L,D)|
|Day 6||Montego Bay||A full day in Montego Bay. Explore on your own or participate in one of the ship's optional excursions. (B,L,D)|
|Day 7||Santiago de Cuba||Your visit to Santiago de Cuba includes a guided walk though Santiago de Cuba's charming main square, REVOLUTION SQUARE, and a visit to SAN JUAN HILL, where Teddy Roosevelt, the Rough Riders, and America's Buffalo Soldiers emerged victorious in the Spanish-American War. Next, visit Jardin de los Helechos, the GARDEN OF FERNS. Here, you'll interact with workers to learn about the various ferns and orchids found here and will also discuss what is needed to maintain this unique garden. Then, take a panoramic CRUISE to Granma Island. Over lunch, join in a DISCUSSION with local fishermen and learn about their fishing practices and their community project that helps sustain the environment. Return to the ship in the late afternoon. |Day 8||Cruising||A full day cruising the Caribbean Sea. Take time to explore the ship, get to know your fellow passengers, or relax with a book on the deck. (B,L,D)|
|Day 9||Havana||This morning, arrive in Havana and disembark your ship. Our first stop is a visit to JOSE FUSTER'S STUDIO, the artist cleverly nicknamed the 'Picasso of the Caribbean.' Here, you'll discover a surreal world-like nothing you have seen before. Interact with members of the neighborhood to discuss the project's impact on the surrounding area. Next, the illustrious HOTEL NACIONAL DE CUBA, a symbol of history, culture, and Cuban identity. The hotel has hosted celebrities and world figures, including Winston Churchill, Mohammed Ali, and Steven Spielberg. Over lunch, meet former Cuban baseball players for a DISCUSSION on the history and the love of this favorite pastime in Cuba and in the United States. Tonight, join your travel companions for a special farewell dinner-the perfect ending to your time in Cuba. (B,L,D)|

Vacation departures, itineraries and prices are subject to change. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required for Globus to reserve space for you. Booking your Vacation with Air
For air departure dates within 331 days, you'll be offered a choice of carriers and flight schedules as well as price points to choose from when selecting your flights. Your schedule will be provided to you at the time of booking (schedules are subject to change by carriers). Globus offers 2 air options: Flex Air and Instant Purchase Air. Flex Air allows flexibility if you want to make changes to your vacation schedule. Instant Purchase Air may offer additional airline options but has more restrictions. Some vacations may only offer one Air type option. Guaranteed air-inclusive prices: air is only available to passengers traveling from the United States and only available when booked in conjunction with a land vacation. An additional $300 per person non-refundable air deposit is required for Flex Air booked in conjunction with any land vacation (i.e. air-inclusive vacation). Air can only be booked by Globus in conjunction with a vacation package. Instant Purchase Air requires air payment in full at time of booking (i.e. air-inclusive vacation) plus non-refundable per person service fee ($30 for North/Central America, $50 for Europe/Middle East and $80 for all other destinations. Once booked, Instant Purchase Air is non-refundable, and non-changeable. Some vacations may only offer one Air type option. However, once your airfare is confirmed and Globus has received your full air and land deposit, your air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed.
Air-Inclusive Vacations - Applicable Taxes & Fees
Air-inclusive vacations include government-imposed taxes and fees applicable at the time of booking and will be shown as a Total Amount. Additional airline fees for baggage may apply. At the time of booking your air-inclusive vacation online, carrier Websites will be provided to check baggage fees, or you can visit www.iflybags.com for up-to-date baggage pricing/restrictions. For return travel from some countries, international travelers are required to pay entry and/or exit fees at the airport. These fees will be collected by the local government and are payable by the traveler at time of travel. Your confirmation booking information will contain information about these fees.
